The mission of FCCAM is to unify, promote and strengthen quality professional family child care in the State of Maine.

The Professional Learning Committee (PLC):
- Develops and maintains resource materials that support best practices in early childhood development
- Coordinates conference events
- Oversees mentoring program
- Develop educational services and resources for family child care providers and staff

- It is also something we will practice when talking about our own learning and experiences while we are working and learning together
- Also remember that your colleagues may disclose personal information. Because we want everyone to feel comfortable, please don’t share it. This is good practice for keeping information confidential.
